Project #1: Monetizing My Youtube Channel

About the Project: I launched my YouTube channel on October 12, 2024, to document my daily life in Japan and practice making engaging titles and thumbnails.

What I Did: I not only spend time on editing but also on coming up with titles and thumbnails that could attract a broader audience.

Results: I met the Youtube monetization requirements (1,000 subscribers, 4,000 watch hours) within 3 months.

About Me 👋

Hi! I’m Tanner. I’ve been creating social media content about Japan for 4 years. In 2023, I started freelancing and edited YouTube videos for creators with 400,000–800,000 subscribers. A year later, I launched my own YouTube channel and hit monetization in just 3 months.

When I’m not making content, I love listening to Official Hige Dandism (best J-Pop artist ever), watching the NBA (10-year Houston Rockets fan), and taking walks while listening to podcasts.
